2010 IFdians

another year for the IFdians and another year of IF this and IF that, the tribe will be in the series....

there is little or no doubt that there is talent on this team.  sizemore, IF healthy, is one of the best all around players in all of baseball.  cabrera is making people forget Jhonny Peralta at ss and draws some comparisons to omar at short.  laporta is one of the most prized prospects in baseball and choo quietly has become a solid player.

this is where the IFs come....

IF sizemore is over his TWO off season surgeries.....
IF westbrook can become even close to his presurgery form......
IF carmona remembers how he won 19 games in '07......
IF hafner finds a supplement that is undetectable and hits home runs again.....
IF r perez isnt overworked AGAIN......
IF wood can control a fastball harder than 89 mph.....
IF santana is ready for a full season of major league (?) pitching.....
IF brantley can produce at this level...... ( i say move him to second base and use valbuena as the jamie carroll of this year)

but, then again, IF i went to the batting cages more often, i wouldnt be writing this blog.....

top 5 cleveland cavaliers

1.  LeBron James - will go down as the greatest player EVER. could average a triple - double if he really wanted to.
2.  mark price - nba's all time leader in free throw percentage
3.  world b. free - when the cavs were at their worst, he gave us someone to watch.
4.  austin carr - even though he's a terrible announcer, he had one of the prettiest jumpers ever
5.  larry nance - no one in cavs history has played the game like larry nance. still hear joe tait's "BLOCKED by larry nance!!"

4.  bernie kosar - actually wanted to play for the browns at a time when no one else did. brought the fun back to municipal stadium.

5.  hanford dixon - his dawg pound is still around even though he hasnt been for a long time.
